College of DuPage is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach courses in Dual Credit Instruction in the Health and Sciences Disciplines. Opportunities may exist to teach at your current high school/ secondary institution.
Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
Required qualifications include a minimum of a Master’s Degree with 18 hours in the discipline. For Continuing Technical Education courses, these qualifications include 2,000 hours of work experience and the appropriate recognizable credential depending on the specific field, which is typically a Bachelors’ degree, but in some instances an Associate Degree. You must already be employed as an instructor at one of our affiliated high schools or institutions to apply. Please include relevant certification and licensure documentation with transcripts.
Teaching at College of DuPage and its partner institutions is enhanced and enlivened through institutional support of faculty, creatively engaging in instructional development with ongoing research to improve student learning and success. Instructors are compensated by their home district or institution.
